Time and Tide Museum, Great Yarmouth, 2013

The Time and Tide museum was the perfect host for the Alfred Wallace exhibition from the Kettles Yard collection.   Housed in the converted Victorian herring curing works, visitors discovered both Great Yarmouth's fascinating, rich maritime heritage as well as the extraordinary paintings of the Cornishman's memories of a life spent at sea. Time and Tide Museum

Over the course of the summer, for one Sunday a month, Mark ran workshops inspired by the ships, lighthouses and sea scenes painted unto scraps of cardboard given to Wallace by his friend, a local St Ives green grocer.  Participants made model boats, cardboard sculptures and chatted about the the exhibition.
