The idea is to create a Halo that appears to be suspended above the church tower, shining an ethereal light across the marshes that can be seen for many miles.

Media/materials

The Halo will be constructed from side-emitting fibre rope, a state of the art technology employed on oilrigs to allow helicopters to see their landing pads. It is low voltage, flexible and very light, making it easy to install. I envisage creating a 30m-circumference ring and will need access to the top of the church tower for installation.
