Loop de Loop : Selected Sculpture for 'Empty Plinth' commission for Eastleigh Recreation Park : 2006

Conceptual drawing of winning sculpture, scheduled to be installed in early 2007. Inspired by Eastleigh's rich aeronautical and railway history, Mark will create a contemporary and monumental sculpture that encapsulates feelings of jubilation. A celebrational Loop de loop is carved into the sky from 'I' beam weathered steel, at the top of the loop sits a small bronze. Total Height approximately 8m.
